If available, have the person’s full legal name, date of birth, jail or booking number, charges, bond amount, and the facility where they are being held. Don’t worry if you don’t have everything—we can help explain what information is still needed.
How much does a bail bond cost in Florida?
For Florida state bonds, the standard premium is generally 10% of the bond amount, subject to the applicable approved rate and legal requirements. We explain the cost before completing the bond so you understand what you are paying.
How long does it take someone to get released after a bond is posted?
Release times vary. The jail controls the actual release process, and factors such as processing, holds, court requirements, and jail activity can affect timing. We will never promise an exact release time we cannot control.
What is an indemnitor or co-signer?
The indemnitor is the person who signs the bail bond agreement and accepts certain responsibilities associated with the bond. We explain those responsibilities before asking you to sign.
Do I need identification to complete a bond?
Yes. East & Out follows a No ID, No Service policy. Valid identification helps us verify the person completing the transaction and properly document the bond.
What is a transfer bond?
A transfer bond may be used when a bond needs to be handled through an agent or agency in another county or jurisdiction. Requirements can vary, so we verify the location and procedure before moving forward.
Can you help with an out-of-county bond?
Yes, we can assist with eligible out-of-county and transfer bonds where our licensing, surety authorization, and the applicable jurisdiction allow us to do so.
